KNIFE GATE VALVE STANDARD FLEX SERIES
The Montagnoli KGVS Flex Series Knife Gate Valve is designed to meet the demands of engineers in critical sectors such as paper production, food processing, and mining, with a design focused on durability and efficiency. Nominal pressure: 2" to 24" at 150 psi (10 bar).
A highlight of the Flex Series is the replaceable sleeve: the component that controls fluid flow can be easily replaced when necessary, without replacing the entire valve. Customers only need to stock sleeves, reducing warehouse space, maintenance cost, and unnecessary disposal.
The bidirectional sealing capability eliminates the risk of reverse assembly and prevents backflow in the line during unexpected flow interruptions. Body options in cast iron and stainless steel, with sleeves in cast iron, stainless steel, and HDPE, allow the valve to adapt to a wide range of applications and fluid types.

Five body and sleeve combinations cover a range of service conditions. Final model selection is confirmed during application review with our technical team.
FLEX 1
Ductile Iron body and sleeve. Cost-effective option for moderate temperatures and pressures.
FLEX 2
Ductile Iron body with Stainless Steel sleeve. Improved corrosion resistance over a wider service range.
FLEX 3
Ductile Iron body with HDPE sleeve. Better corrosion resistance for aggressive fluids at lower temperatures and pressures.
FLEX 4
Stainless Steel body and sleeve. High corrosion resistance for demanding environments.
FLEX 5 (Up to 8")
Stainless Steel body with HDPE sleeve. Suited to corrosive fluids in less extreme temperature and pressure conditions.
