DUCTILE IRON SLUICE GATES
The Montagnoli Ductile Iron Sluice Gates have been designed to ensure reliability and operational performance in water and wastewater treatment applications. Their one-piece design of the frame and gate provides robustness and precision in operation and gate sealing.
The Ductile Iron Sluice Gates feature a self-lubricating wedge system that ensures smooth operation and low coefficient of kinematic friction, requiring less force for actuation, thus extending the lifespan and performance of the gate while maintaining 100% sealing efficiency.
The wedges also have an adjustable position system to compensate for natural wear throughout the gate's lifespan. As standard, the Ductile Iron Sluice Gates adhere to the guidelines and requirements of the AWWA C501-92 standard.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
BODY:
The frame of the Ductile Iron Sluice Gates is typically made of Ductile Iron. Different materials can be requested such as SAE 1018, 1040, GGG40.
GATE:
The gate is manufactured from the same material as the body, ensuring rigidity and maximizing product lifespan.
WEDGES:
By default, the wedges are made of Bronze SAE 660 (HB 45) for controlled wear.
