SLUICE gates
STAINLESS STEEL SLUICE gates
Montagnoli’s Stainless Steel Line sluice gates were designed to ensure reliability and operating performance in water and wastewater treatment applications. Its modular design provides robustness and rigidity to the set, guaranteeing a long service life with excellent performance, in addition to the ease of being supplied with different technologies of actuators and accessories. The frame and tray of the Stainless Steel Line sluice gates are a robust set welded in Stainless Steel, with sealing faces in HDPE and EPDM. For assembly, the Stainless Steel Line sluice gates can be supplied for wall or channel fixation. By default, the gates of the Monoblock Line follow the guidelines and requirements of the AWWA C501-92 standard.
APPLICATIONS:
- Water and Wastewater Treatment
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
BODY:
The frame of the sluice gates Stainless Steel Line, by default, is manufactured in Stainless Steel AISI 304 (CF8). However, different materials can be ordered, depending on the customer’s needs, such as AISI 304L (CF8M), 316 (CF3), 316L (CF3M).
GATE:
In the Stainless Steel Line sluice gates, the tray is made of the same material as the body, ensuring the rigidity of the set and maximizing the life of the gate.
WEDGES:
By default, the wedges are made of Bronze SAE 660. Throughout the lifespan of the gate, the natural wear resulting from its operation leads to the wear of the wedges due to their lower Brinell Hardness (HB 45) compared to the material of the frame and gate.
ACTUATION:
The available actuation systems for Stainless Steel Gates can be developed with Rising Stem or Non-Rising Stem configurations. The following actuation options are already available:
- Manual
- Manual with Gearbox
- Electric
- Hydraulic
- Engineered
ACCESSORIES:
- Extension rods in AISI 304 / 316
